We understand these unprecedented times are challenging. If COVID-19 is impacting you, your family or your business, Citizens Bank of Cape Vincent is here to support you and give you the assistance you need.


Relief for Consumer and Small Business Customers

We are taking steps to help relieve the financial burden to those customers who demonstrate financial hardship or who have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. The following hardship relief actions are in place and effective immediately.

  • We are temporarily waiving:
    • Late fees
    • Overdraft or insufficient fund (NSF) fees
    • Early withdrawal penalties on certificates of deposit (CDs)
    • Foreign ATM service charge fees

    PLEASE NOTE: Some of these fees may still appear but they will be credited back by the Bank promptly.


  • We are offering loan payment relief options:
    • Delay payments for up to three months upon customer request via an extension or forbearance. To make a request, please contact one of our branch locations to discuss your options or fill out a COVID-19 Loan Payment Relief Request. You can mail or drop off your request at one of our branch locations.
    • Modify existing loan terms or providing new loans on favorable terms.
    • Set-up an interest only agreement for up to three (3) months.

    PLEASE NOTE: All loan requests are subject to underwriting and approval.
